Reliable protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals during transport and storage. Suitable for parts made of iron, steel, aluminium, copper, bronze, and zinc galvanised parts. The protective effect develops both in direct contact and in the vapour phase. Ideal for wrapping machines and components, and for lining containers, boxes, or cartons. It has a wide range of applications, such as in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, and other metalworking sectors. The protection period lasts up to several years, and metal parts do not need to be cleaned after this period. It has good compatibility with plastics and paints and can be used similarly to commercially available gusseted bonnets. The film can be welded, contains no nitrite, can be recycled, and fulfills TRGS 615. It can be stored for up to two years in sealed original packaging at temperatures of +5° to +30 °C.

Further technical properties include ESD/EGB and VCI protection for corrosion.
