This TP-Link Wi-Fi stick allows a desktop computer or notebook to connect wirelessly to an existing Wi-Fi network. The black adapter, measuring just 8.6 cm in length, is compatible with Wi-Fi networks using the IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g standards, but also supports high transfer rates of 802.11n.

This means that computers with the TP-Link TL-WN821N can theoretically exchange data with other devices over the wireless network at speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s—of course, all other devices and the router must also operate in 802.11n mode.

The USB stick supports modern encryption methods such as WPA2, WEP, and WPA/WPA2-PSK, enabling fast and highly secure access to certificate-based authentication networks.
