The TL-SM321B-2 from TP-Link has been developed in accordance with the Small Form Pluggable Multi-Source Agreement (SFP-MSA). As a bidirectional optical WDM transceiver, the TL-SM321B-2 uses an integrated bidirectional optical LC interface connector, with a data connection range of up to 2 km over 9/125µm SMF (Single-Mode Fiber).
Additionally, the TL-SM321B-2 features Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), which is compatible with SFF-8472. DDM supports real-time monitoring of the transceiver and displays parameters such as transceiver power, optical transmit/receive power, and operating temperature.
The TL-SM321B-2 from TP-Link is used in practice for short and medium-range fiber optic networks, providing fast and stable Gigabit fiber connections for switches, routers, servers, and more.
