The Wi-Fi 6 features OFDMA and MU-MIMO for uploads and downloads significantly increase the capacity of the WLAN network compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) in heavily trafficked environments, allowing more devices to be connected simultaneously. The Omada Wi-Fi 6 Access Points benefit from Wi-Fi 6 - 802.11ax technologies such as 1024 QAM and improved OFDM WLAN symbols. These innovations enable speeds of up to a total of 3550 Mbps, with 2404 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 1148 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band. With four simultaneous data streams, throughput increases significantly, especially when multiple devices are using Wi-Fi at the same time, enabling more applications.
