As part of the Wave 2 evolution of the 802.11ac standard, Multi-User MIMO technology has been introduced. By utilizing Multi-User MIMO, this device can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously. This allows your Wi-Fi network to deliver faster throughput to each connected client, resulting in quicker downloads and lag-free streaming for your devices.

The 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard offers you up to twice the data throughput compared to older standards. This increase is achieved by widening the transmission bandwidth. Additionally, with 802.11ac, the number of parallel data streams (Multiple Input Multiple Output, or MIMO) can be increased to up to eight MIMO streams, while the 802.11n standard defines a maximum of four MIMO streams. Large data volumes, such as videos and backups, are not a problem with this Wi-Fi speed.
