The 2-way system splits the incoming signals into seven drivers, which are more powerful than a corresponding broadband system within their optimum working range. Six large 55 mm midrange drivers guarantee
full, rich reproduction even at low levels, with good speech intelligibility at all times. An enormous lifting capacity of the drivers allows high, distortion-free levels with good precision.
A 19mm dome tweeter gives voices and effects a silky, smooth sound without being aggressive. The wide beam angle allows a balanced sound on all listening positions. Despite the slim columns, the crossover frequency to the subwoofer could be set to 150 Hz, so that low bass can hardly be located and the subwoofer can be positioned flexibly. All speakers have the same structure and sound the same. Despite its compact dimensions, the woofer offers top sound quality: 43 Hz cut-off frequency (- 3 dB), 106 dB maximum sound pressure level and two bass reflex tubes for deep, dry bass without disturbing flow noise. The subwoofer has an automatic on/off function as well as a volume and phase switch for optimum adaptation to the room and taste. The rubberized feet are of course included.
