Telkom Telmor PAR-820 Antenna Preamplifier
AmplifierProduct details
Features
Ability to amplify RTV signals from a passive antenna, no disassembly required. Wide range of permissible supply voltages. Installation at a suitable location. The coaxial cable has low inherent noise, high resistance to intermodulation, low power consumption, and resistance to external electromagnetic fields. The robust metal housing of the PAR-820 is designed to amplify weak terrestrial television signals received by passive receiving antennas. The shape of the preamplifier housing allows for installation at any point along the coaxial antenna cable. This means that the preamplifier can be used with an existing antenna without the need to remove the antenna. Since the signal-to-noise ratio deteriorates with distance from the antenna, it is advisable to place the preamplifier as close to the antenna as possible. The tube preamplifier PAR-820 is designed for indoor use. The device is powered from the output side via a coaxial cable. Due to the wide range of permissible supply voltages from +5 to +24 V, the respective amplifier can be powered either directly through a receiver or television (these devices must be able to output +5 V) or through an external power source with a power separator (with power supply).
