This CWDM optical transmitter is specifically designed for outdoor installation and is mounted with minimal distance to the LNB. The device receives satellite signals from a wideband RF LNB and terrestrial band and distributes them via a fiber optic output in the 1510nm window with 9dBm optical power to up to 64 users. Thanks to optimized technology and low losses, the number of required amplifiers can be reduced, simplifying its use in community systems while maintaining signal quality throughout operation. The device is part of the Overlight system, which distributes satellite and terrestrial signals over a single fiber to multiple users.
