In addition to these advanced features, the receiver also allows for television viewing in various ways: it receives both high-definition satellite television (DVB-S2) and high-definition digital terrestrial television (DVB-T2 H.265), as well as digital cable television (DVB-C) in HD quality. With the CI+ interface, the receiver can be upgraded to receive encrypted programs such as Sky or freenet TV. Through the USB port connected to an external storage device, the Diginova 25 smart functions as a digital video recorder, supporting recordings that are saved on external media.

The energy-efficient power supply also ensures extremely low power consumption. Many other user-friendly features make the receiver a top-notch product. It is necessary to connect the receiver to a network with internet access and to use the TELESTAR SMART VOICE KIT (included in the package). The receiver can be controlled by voice command in its standard configuration when integrated with an Amazon Echo or a similar device within a network.
