But no worries, you can now replace the outdoor sensor without necessarily having to invest in a new station. A proper smart home includes measuring temperature and humidity in every room. However, this can quickly drive up hardware costs. To build a JeeLink yourself, you will need an Arduino Nano and an RFM12B for 433/868 MHz. The TX 35-IT sensor is a significantly cheaper alternative. It is only recommended for true DIY enthusiasts and tech lovers.
