Digital LNB for Two-Participant Reception

Signal converter for dual participant operation. This signal converter is equipped with two independent connections and can be used in dual participant mode to receive all analog and digital TV, radio, and multimedia offerings broadcast via satellite. Since the entire frequency spectrum of satellite reception is available at each of the two outputs, either two receiving devices (e.g., receivers or TV-PC cards) or a twin receiver can be directly connected to the output sockets.

This twin LNB only allows for pure two-participant reception. An expansion of the reception unit through a multiswitch is not planned. To include more than two participants, the use of a Quattro or Quattro switch LNB is recommended.

Function of the LNB

The LNB (Low Noise Block Converter) is the reception electronics that is mounted on the AZ/EL bracket (the feed arm) of the satellite antenna.
