TechniSat TechniSwitch 5/8 mini

This ultra-compact stand-alone multi-switch distributes one orbital position (4 satellite blocks) to up to 8 participants and also allows the input of either DVB-T, DAB+, FM, or cable TV. All participant outputs are pre-compensated for tilt, enabling distances of up to 100 meters from the LNB to the antenna socket to be bridged without additional accessories. The TechniSwitch 5/8 mini is designed for the transmission of DOCSIS signals, making it ideally suited for the simultaneous use of internet and telephone services from cable network providers in satellite house distribution systems.

With the appropriate distribution components 5/8, the signal distribution can be expanded to 16 or more participants. Because the TechniSwitch 5/8 mini operates particularly energy-efficiently, no power supply is needed at the installation site of the multi-switch. The switch is powered by the receiver.

Via satellite, a multitude of TV and radio program offerings can be received, far exceeding what is possible through cable and antenna. Just through the satellite position ASTRA 19.2° East, hundreds of international TV and radio programs can be received free of charge.
