Product details

Tarmo gas detector, 12 V / 230 V. This gas detector is suitable for home, cabin, camper, or boat use. It can be connected directly to a 12 V system (for boats and campers) or to mains electricity (230 V) using the included adapter. The detector alerts you to the presence of liquefied petroleum gas and natural gas (propane, butane, methane).

Installation:
To detect natural gas, install the detector 15 - 30 cm below the ceiling, ensuring it is no more than six meters from ovens or gas appliances. The socket for connecting the 12 V DC device should be located within two meters of the gas detector's installation site.

For detecting liquefied gas, install the detector 15 - 30 cm above the floor level, with a maximum distance of four meters from ovens or gas appliances. Recommended locations include the kitchen, garage, or camper.

Note: When connecting to a 12 V system, the wires of the gas detector must be cut and connected to the battery using terminal connectors, screw connectors, or battery lugs.
