Tannoy Eclipse One

Unbeatable performance at incredible value for money is the motto under which the development of the new speaker series took place. The Tannoy Eclipse One, Tannoy Eclipse Two, and Tannoy Eclipse Three present themselves as very attractively priced and technically exciting speaker systems.

For all three models of the Tannoy Eclipse series, completely new chassis have been developed, utilizing a combination of a so-called Silk Dome Tweeter and a highly efficient woofer/midrange driver. The tweeter ensures particularly detailed and natural reproduction, while the woofer/midrange drivers are responsible for a distinctly dynamic and precise sound. All three models are designed as bass-reflex systems, with the bass-reflex port located at the rear.

In the smallest model, the Tannoy Eclipse One, a 5-inch chassis with a coated multi-fiber paper diaphragm is used as the woofer/midrange driver, paired with a 1.1-inch tweeter featuring a polyester diaphragm and a powerful neodymium magnet system. This compact bookshelf speaker system, measuring 170 x 300 x 255 mm and weighing 4.5 kg, is designed to cover a frequency range between 55 Hz and 32 kHz. With an impedance of 8 ohms and an efficiency of 87 dB, it is suitable for amplifiers with a power output between 15 and 70 watts, handling a peak load of 140 watts.
