The 2.5-ton truck, known as "Jimmy" or "Two and a Half," was equipped with a Type 270 engine with a displacement of 4,416 cm³, producing 104 hp. The power was transmitted to the wheels via a five-speed transmission, which was mounted directly on the clutch housing behind the engine.
