Tamiya U.S. Army Staff Car Model 1942

The display model is a replica of the German Jagdtiger produced in 1943, which at that time was the heaviest and most powerful tank in the world. The tank was based on the chassis of the King Tiger. The Jagdtiger boasts excellent offensive capabilities, which it demonstrated by taking out Allies from a great distance. The Jagdtiger was first deployed in the Battle of the Bulge in 1944 and primarily fought against Allied forces in West Germany from 1945 onwards. By 1945, 80 of these Tigers had been produced, followed by an additional ten with a Porsche turret.
