Tamiya Suzuki GSX1100S Katana

The model kit is a replica of the Suzuki GSX1100S Katana, which was showcased at the motorcycle fair in Cologne in 1980 and drew attention for its aggressive body style. Many spectators were impressed by the design but believed that this vehicle would not be produced in this form and that the motorcycle was a one-off custom build in 1980. In 1981, the Honda was released and remained true to the body features. With some adjustments to the chassis and engine, the GSX1100 appeared just as it was displayed at the fair.
