Tamiya Supermarine Spitfire Mk. VIII

The stand model is a replica of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII. Many variants of the representative fighter aircraft named Spitfire MK.V exist, but one of the most prominent variants was the MK.VIII version. This model featured several improvements, such as fuel tanks in the wings, a retractable tailwheel, shortened ailerons, and enlarged vertical and horizontal stabilizers. From the second half of 1943, the MK.VIII variant was deployed in the Mediterranean and the Pacific.

This is a detailed model kit in 1:32 scale. The high-quality kit from TAMIYA must be assembled independently. The assembly process is accompanied by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly guide, which is included in the package. Based on the assembly instructions, the precisely fitting individual parts must be put together. Painting of the parts can be done according to personal preferences. Tools, glue, and paints are not included in the plastic kit and must be purchased separately.
