Art. No.: 300035303
Product Name: 1:35 Rus. Sw. KPz JSU-152 (2)
The model is a replica of the Russian tank JSU-152, which was built on the chassis of the JS-2 and opposed the German Tiger I. This self-propelled weapon was first deployed in the Battle of Kursk in 1943. Mass production of the JSU-152 began in September 1943, after improvements had been made. In 1944, the JSU-152 entered its first official battle during Operation Bagration. The tank earned the nickname "Zveroboy," meaning "Beast Killer," as it was capable of destroying the Tiger I and Panther tanks. The tank remained a serious threat until 1970.
