Product details

The display model is a replica of the Italian medium tank M13/40. The tank featured bogey-style wheels that operated on a leaf spring suspension. The first hydraulically operated turret was equipped with a 47-mm main gun. The M13/40 was powered by a 125-horsepower V8 diesel engine, allowing the tank to reach a top speed of 30 km/h. From July 1940 to 1943, 800 units of this medium tank were produced. The tank primarily fought alongside German units on the North African front.

Detailed model kit in 1:35 scale. The display model has dimensions: Length: 14.3 cm. The high-quality kit from TAMIYA must be assembled independently. The assembly process is supported by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly guide, which is included in the package. Based on the assembly instructions, the precisely fitting individual parts must be put together. Painting of the parts can be done according to personal preferences. Tools, glue, and paint are not included in the plastic kit and must be purchased separately.
