The model is a replica of the German Horch Type 1a off-road vehicle. The Horch 1a was developed in accordance with the standardization program before World War II, aimed at streamlining vehicle production. The off-road vehicle was capable of transporting 8 crew members, powered by a V8 engine that provided 80 horsepower. It had a range of 400 km and was equipped with an oversized radiator to continue operating in harsh environments like North Africa. The Type 1a was heavily utilized in the early stages of World War II.
