The 11CV featured a front-mounted engine, a front-wheel-drive system with a longitudinally mounted 1900 cm³ inline four-cylinder engine. Since no driveshaft was needed from front to back, the Traction had a passenger compartment that was positioned just above the ground and a low center of gravity.
