About the Model: This highly detailed assembly model in 1:700 scale represents the USS Iowa. The model depicts the Iowa as it appeared during the Mariana Campaign in 1944. It accurately captures the differences from the USS Missouri, such as the open bridge, bow, observation platform, radar antenna, and 20mm guns on turret number 2. The design of the left and right hull halves allows for easy assembly and an ultra-realistic finish. The main turrets can rotate after completion thanks to polycaps. Equipment and armament, including 40mm and 20mm guns, are faithfully reproduced. A complete color finishing guide shows how to paint the camouflage "Measure 32/1B" as used in the Mariana Campaign.
