Tamiya 1:48 German 20mm Flak Quadruplet

The stand model is a replica of the Flakvierling 38, which was originally developed for the naval anti-aircraft weapon of the Kriegsmarine. The German army also used the 20mm cannon on land during World War II, where it was widely deployed. To create the Flakvierling 38, four of these cannons were assembled to compensate for the low rate of fire. In its basic form, the Flakvierling 38 was mounted on vehicles, half-tracks, tank chassis, ships, barges, or even trains to provide close-range air defense against Allied fighter-bombers.

This detailed model kit is in 1:48 scale. The high-quality kit from TAMIYA requires assembly by the user. The assembly process is supported by a step-by-step or illustrated instruction manual included in the package. Based on the instructions, the precisely fitting individual parts must be assembled. Painting of the parts can be done according to personal preferences. Tools, glue, and paint are not included in the plastic model kit and must be purchased separately.
