Tamiya 1/48 British 2t 4x2 Ambulance

The British Army produced over 13,000 units of the 2-ton 4x2 field ambulance from 1940 until the end of World War II. It was a powerful vehicle for support operations. The vehicle's body was based on a civilian light truck, and the Army Medical Corps independently developed the rear compartment. It contained numerous medical devices, including benches that could be converted into bunk beds. Its operational area was broad, covering France, North Africa, Italy, and Europe after Normandy. The vehicle was seen not only in army operations but also at air force bases across the country.
