tado° replaces the existing thermostat and acts as the connection between the heating system, the internet, and the smartphone. The temperature can also be adjusted directly on the thermostat using the LED touch display.

The tado° app is available for free on mobile devices in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Windows Store. tado° works with almost all common heating systems and is very easy to install.

Thermostat in the house with its own boiler or apartment with gas central heating: Gas, oil, or heat pump
Internet and router at home
Smartphone (at least iOS 7.1, Android 2.3.3, or Windows Phone 8.1)

If your heating system does not have a wired central room thermostat, you will need the tado° Extension Box in addition to this product.
