Description
I am selling the Synology DX517 5x expansion unit (without HDD/SDD's).
Great for expanding the number of drives when things get tight.
Backup, RAID etc. (it is not explicitly recommended, but from my own experience: the RAID can also be distributed across the NAS and the DX - I have operated it this way and have had no loss of speed whatsoever.
DSM related can also be set up without any problems.

Tip: Please check whether it is compatible with the corresponding NAS. The connection is an eSATA connection (cable included) - but this does not mean that the DX runs on every Synology NAS with an eSATA interface.

Has been completely disassembled, cleaned and checked for function.

3.5' HDD's are simply clipped in, 2.5' HDD/SDD must be screwed in
Depending on whether it is connected directly to the mains or to a UPS, I will be happy to include the cable according to your wishes. The power supply unit is integrated.
