The Synology DS1815+ is equipped with a quad-core processor and a hardware encryption engine, providing very fast file transfer speeds, even when processing encrypted data. The DiskStation is a powerful, easily scalable 8-bay NAS server that can be expanded to up to 6 GB of RAM. With two DX513 expansion units, the raw capacity can be increased to up to 108 TB.
