Product details
SWAYTRONIC - Inverter with integrated residual current circuit breaker 2500W
Use of an inverter
The inverter is used where a DC voltage is to be converted to AC voltage. The alternating voltage of the power output operates devices which can otherwise only be operated via the 230V house mains connection. The Swaytronic Inverter-FI protection fulfils this task and enables a conversion of the DC voltage (battery) to AC voltage. All our inverters have a pure sine wave which guarantees the operation of all 230V AC consumers.
Advantages of a Swaytronic inverter with residual current circuit breaker
Integrated residual current circuit breaker
Swaytronic inverters with residual current protection have an integrated residual current circuit breaker. The residual current circuit breaker assumes an important safety function during operation. The main function of a residual current circuit breaker (RCD) is to protect people from dangerous electrical currents. The residual current circuit breaker detects both large fault currents and the smallest current differences caused by minor insulation faults or by contact with live parts. By reacting quickly and interrupting the flow of current, the RCD protects people from electric shock and reduces the risk of fire.
Mains priority circuit
All inverters with RCD protection have a mains priority circuit which automatically switches to the external feed when shore power is connected.
