The IS 140-2 is considered a classic among infrared motion detectors and is now equipped with even more features. With larger adjustment angles both horizontally and vertically for targeted detection around the house, a detection angle of 140°, a range of up to 14 meters, and multiple detection levels, the IS 140-2 enables comprehensive monitoring. The optical system features precise, spherical Fresnel lenses for accurate person detection and a consistent range. The detection area can be precisely adjusted using the optical system, which can swivel 90° horizontally and 180° vertically. Additionally, the detection zone can be restricted with the included cover plates. The IS 140-2 allows for easy adjustment of time and twilight thresholds via a rotary control located at the bottom of the sensor lens. Thanks to the spacious, clearly arranged connection area, wiring is quick and easy, and the supply line can be mounted on the surface or in the wall.
