The remote control extender uses a radio frequency that works through walls, doors, and around corners, allowing you to control your A/V devices from greater distances or even from another room. This enables configuration versatility for applications across multiple rooms or outdoors, without needing to be within the range of your remote-controlled devices.

The remote control extender consists of two units: a local IR remote control extender that receives the incoming IR signal from the remote and wirelessly transmits it to the IR remote control receiver near the device being controlled.
