USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet NIC Network Adapter. The StarTech USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter features an RJ45 Ethernet port for a USB-enabled computer system and supports Gigabit network connections with full bandwidth. The adapter supports jumbo frames, VLAN tagging, and Wake-On-LAN (WOL), providing a versatile Gigabit networking solution for home and office use. The USB to RJ45 adapter enables operation in Gigabit networks via USB 3.0 and is compatible with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3ab (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T). Power is supplied directly through the USB ports. Crossover detection and auto-correction (Auto MDIX) are also supported, along with IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging. The adapter supports jumbo frames and checksum offload (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP) as well as large packet shifting. LED indicators show activity and connection status. Optimal mobility is ensured by a compact, lightweight design.
