The 2-to-1 RJ45 splitter cable adapter RJ45SPLITTER increases the number of RJ45 network connections from a single RJ45 port and allows the transmission of two 10/100 Ethernet signals over a single Cat5/Cat5e cable. On one side of the installation, the splitter enables two patch cables from a hub or switch to connect to one port of a patch panel; on the other side of the installation, the splitter can be connected via a wall outlet to a single Cat5/Cat5e network line, which can then be split and connected to two different devices. The patch panel and wall outlet are connected with a single Cat5/Cat5e cable.
