Sonoro Grand Orchestra

The two-and-a-half-way concept of the Grand Orchestra allows for a homogeneous radiation pattern while maintaining high sensitivity. Additionally, the impedance is optimized across the entire frequency range. The rear-sloping baffle, the offset Air Motion Transformer (AMT), and the carefully tuned crossover contribute to improved timing, precise instrument localization, and a spacious soundstage. The optimized waveguide of the AMT prevents sound wave interference and edge diffraction, resulting in a wide and even radiation characteristic. The cabinet, made from high-density fiberboard (HDF), avoids parallel walls—except on the sides of the enclosure. This material and design reduce standing waves and prevent cabinet resonances. A slim floor-standing speaker that also pairs well with smaller amplifiers and tubes.
