Sikaflex-522 adhesive and sealant from Sika is a versatile, low-emission, 1-component adhesive and sealant that is ideal for elastic sealing and bonding applications both indoors and outdoors. With a chemical base of silane-terminated polymer (STP), this sealant offers high resistance to ageing and weathering as well as excellent colour stability when exposed to UV light. It is particularly suitable for use in air conditioning and ventilation systems as well as in food processing plants, as it fulfils the hygiene requirements of VDI 6022. Sikaflex-522 is free from isocyanates, solvents and phthalates, making it an environmentally friendly choice. It is also suitable for a wide range of substrates such as wood, glass, metals, ceramic materials and plastics, which emphasises its versatility.
