With SIMIT, simulations can be conducted on a single platform, enabling comprehensive testing of automation projects as well as virtual commissioning of systems, machines, and processes. Furthermore, the simulation platform can be used for realistic training environments to train operating personnel. SIMIT is available in four different variants (S, M, L, XL), which differ in the number of simulation tags. Simulation tags are calculated from the sum of the inputs and outputs as well as the state variables of all components used in the simulation project.

Licensing is generally done per workstation via a dongle. Additionally, with the Software Update Service (SUS), you can easily and cost-effectively keep your software up to date and will be immediately supplied with the latest software upon release. To connect a real controller with a simulation model in SIMIT, the SIMIT Unit can be used. The SIMIT Unit simulates the behavior of devices on the bus and allows data exchange between the controller and SIMIT.
