The servo motor and the servo drive are connected using only one cable instead of the usual two or three wires. This single cable technology with SPEED-CONNECT quick release combines power, encoder connection, and brake control in one line. This offers several advantages, such as time-saving installation of just one cable and reduced installation space or footprint for cable management. It is also beneficial that only one cable needs to be cleaned, especially in industries with high hygiene requirements. The cable can be ordered in decimeter lengths and features a motor-side M17 or M12 connector (the smallest OCC connector in the world). Easy installation is facilitated even in tight spaces by the compact motor with a small, rotatable connector.
