The servo motor and the servo inverter are connected with just one cable instead of the usual two or three cables. With this one-cable technology with SPEED-CONNECT quick-release fastener, power, encoder connection and brake control are combined in one cable. This results in a number of advantages, e.g. the time-saving installation of just one cable and the reduced installation space and space requirement for cable routing. Another advantage is that only one cable needs to be cleaned, especially in industries with high hygiene requirements. The cable can also be ordered to the nearest decimetre and has an M17 or M12 connector on the motor side (the smallest OCC connector in the world). The compact motor with a small, rotatable plug makes installation easy, even in confined spaces. The cable has IP20 protection on the inverter side and IP65 protection on the motor side. Optimised connection technology thanks to OCC (One Cable Connection).
