The line test device FDUL221 is a universal device for testing installed FDnet / C-NET fire alarm lines when no control panel is connected yet. It is designed for troubleshooting by electricians, installers, or service technicians. Various functions can be accessed, such as the number of devices found, line faults detected, location of line faults, short circuits, interruptions, and earth faults, with indications of which conductor(s) are affected. The device allows scrolling from detector to detector, displaying type and serial number.

Unit software (firmware) can be updated via PC. It can be powered by battery or through a mains adapter. The line test unit includes a line connection set FDUL221-A and a mains adapter set FDUL221-B.
