Product details
The Sick VS/VE18-4P3240 single-beam light barrier is a highly advanced motion detector designed for a wide range of applications in automation technology. With a maximum range of up to 20 meters, this sensor provides reliable detection of objects and movements. The device operates on the principle of a single-beam light barrier and uses an LED light emitter to enable precise switching operations. The switching outputs are configured as PNP and support both light-on and dark-on functions. Easy installation is ensured by a 4-pin M12 connector, which allows for a secure connection. The ability to adjust via a potentiometer provides flexible adaptation to specific requirements. With an IP67 protection rating, the sensor is also protected against dust and water, making it ideal for use in demanding environments.
