Product details

The VTF18-4N1240 light sensor from Sick is a highly advanced reflective light sensor designed for precise detection applications. With a switching distance of up to 100 mm and background suppression, this sensor offers reliable performance in various environments. The light sensor uses an LED as a light emitter and allows for easy adjustment via a potentiometer. Its robust construction made of nickel-plated brass and plastic ensures durability and resilience. Connection is made via a 4-pin M12 connector, facilitating integration into existing systems. While the light sensor is not suitable for smart home applications, it offers a high switching frequency of up to 250 Hz and a fast response time of less than 2 ms, making it ideal for industrial applications.
