Shuttle NC3000BA mini PC system

The XPC nano NC3000BA PC system is equipped with economical Intel ULV (ultralow-voltage) processors of the Kaby Lake generation. It includes 4 GB RAM, 32 GB SSD, and the Windows 10 Pro operating system. The DisplayPort supports 4K resolution video at 60 frames per second, and an additional display can be connected via HDMI. USB 3.0 devices can be connected with either type A or type C connectors. Professional users appreciate the Intel network chip and the COM port. This system is ideal for applications such as digital signage, POS, control, office PC, or as a media PC.

The black plastic case with its curves and copper-colored elements looks very stylish on the desk. With a volume of less than 850 ml, it is barely perceptible as a PC. It can be discreetly mounted behind a screen using a VESA mount. Despite its small dimensions, it offers plenty of connection possibilities and even space for a 2.5" drive.

With the built-in SD card reader on the front, files can easily be transferred from the camera to the computer. SD, SDHC, and SDXC flash cards in standard format are supported, and booting from these cards is also possible.

Today, consumer PCs often no longer have serial interfaces because they have been replaced by USB. However, they continue to be in demand for some professional applications, such as POS systems and products from the fields of science and industry. The Shuttle XPC nano Barebone NC03U has a serial RS-232 interface with the traditional 9-pin D-Sub connector for easy connection of peripherals. Note that the serial interface (COM port) cannot be used when the NC03U is operated in a vertical position.

Up to two digital monitors can be connected simultaneously via HDMI and DisplayPort, allowing more data to be visualized at the same time. Note that dual channel memory (two identical memory modules) is required to support 4K Ultra-HD resolution (2160p).
