"Anton Schlüter founded his Schlüter Motorenwerke in Freising near Munich as early as 1898. In order to participate in the increasingly lucrative market for agricultural tractors in the 1930s, Schlüter presented its first tractor, the Schlüter DZM 25, in 1937. From 1964 onwards, the Freising plant concentrated exclusively on the construction of large tractors, thus living up to the Schlüter advertising slogan of the time, "Power as much as you need". As part of the Schlüter Super series, the Freising-based company introduced the Schlüter 1500 TV in 1970. Its water-cooled four-stroke in-line six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 7128 cm3 produced 135 hp, which was transmitted to all four wheels via a ZF change-speed group transmission."
