Schuco Opel Kadett B Rally Coupé 1:18

In 1936, Opel introduced the first "Kadett" to the public. It wasn't until 1962 that the second generation of the Rüsselsheim Kadett, the Kadett A, was released. This model was replaced by the Kadett B as early as 1965. Like its predecessors, the B-Kadett was equipped with a longitudinally mounted front engine and rear-wheel drive. By the time it was succeeded in 1973, over 2.7 million B-Kadett units had been delivered to a satisfied and very brand-loyal customer base. With its ventilation slots hinted at the C-pillar, the so-called "gill coupe" is now the most sought-after variant of the entire series. Particularly well-preserved examples of the Rallye Kadett Coupé are highly coveted among Opel enthusiasts, but they are also extremely rare and very difficult to find today.
