Provides additional protection against direct contact (= 30 mA). Fault protection against indirect contact, e.g., in case of insulation faults (= 100 mA, = 300 mA). Fault protection in construction site distribution boards (500 mA). Switching and isolating of circuits. Jump switching for low-wear contact operation.
