Product details
1400 ppm CO2 in the room air is already considered "very bad air", the maximum workplace concentration (MAK) in Germany is 5000 ppm. The "Factory" CO2 traffic light therefore reminds you to ventilate the room extensively with its yellow light from 1400 ppm. If you have to breathe in bad, stale air all the time, you become tired and lose a lot of performance and concentration. This is particularly noticeable when studying and working. The immune system is also weakened, whereas it is noticeably strengthened and stabilised when the air is always fresh, which may even be reflected in the number of sick days over the year in open-plan offices, for example. The only remedy for poor air quality is regular ventilation, which is often forgotten. This is exactly where the CO2 traffic light comes in. It not only warns when harmful concentrations are significantly increased, but also encourages people to ventilate in good time, even before the warning tone sounds at the highest warning level. How many square metres does a traffic light cover? CO2 from breathing air is distributed quite homogeneously in the room. In classrooms, one traffic light is sufficient, a standard gymnasium should be equipped with two traffic lights and a Pax400 auditorium perhaps with three or four traffic lights. This also depends on the room geometry and cannot be expressed in square metres. Does the device stay on continuously for 24 hours or does it have to be switched on every time the room is used? The traffic light is suitable for both options. If it is only switched on when the room is in use, you can assume a longer service life. How long does it take for the appliance to be ready for operation after it is switched on? In less than 90 seconds, the first meaningful evaluation takes place with the result displayed immediately. On which side and at what height should the traffic light be installed? The traffic light should not be mounted in the centre of a wall directly next to the windows.
