Source: Digitec GalaxusWer sparen und trotzdem Filme auch in 4K und HDR genießen will, darf dem Vorjahresmodell gern sein Vertrauen schenken. Nur ausgewiesene Soundfreaks sollten ein paar Euro mehr in die nächste Generation investieren.
Die geschwungene Front passt zu den Samsung Curved TVs. Sehr gute Bild- und Tonqualität auch ohne UHD Blu-ray. Pluspunkt für die Fernbedienung. Leider stören die Laufwerkgeräusche.
Samsung schickt mit dem UBD-K8500 einen streamingfähigen Blu-ray-Player ins Rennen. Dieser zeichnet sich durch eine hervorragende Bildqualität bis hin zu Ultra-HD aus, aber auch HDR ist möglich. Klanglich liefert es sehr gute Qualitäten, sämtliche Raumklang-Verfahren sind vorhanden und auch spielt das Modell neben Inhalten wie Amazon oder Netflix auch alle Film-Discs und bietet einen guten Mediaplayer...
Wer das Bestmögliche an Bildqualität auf seinem 4K-Fernseher sehen möchte, darf getrost den Invest in einen der Ultra-HD-Blu-ray-Player in Erwägung ziehen. Zu bedenken ist nur: Wie immer bei neuen Technologien wird es im zweiten Jahr eine Generation geben, die zum Teil preisgünstiger daherkommen und vom Start weg Fehler vermeiden wird, die bei den Vorjahrsmodellen noch gemacht wurden...
Zum Curved-TV bietet Samsung die optimale Begleitung: Der UHD-Player kommt ebenfalls gebogen und besonders schnittig daher. Ohne Display macht der Zuspieler einen besonders edlen Eindruck. Um sich von der Qualität zu überzeugen, braucht es nicht mal zwingend UHD-Material. Auch DVDs und Blu-rays rechnet der Player qualitativ sehr ordentlich hoch. Leider fehlt ein HDMI-2.0-Kabel im Lieferumfang.
Der UBD-K8500 kommt gerade recht. Selbst wenn die Zahl der verfügbaren HDR-tauglichen UHD-Scheiben noch recht überschaubar ist, werden sie doch die Full-HD-Blu-ray ersetzen, so wie diese einst die DVD ersetzt hat. Und bis dahin müssen Sie weder diese noch jene ausmustern, sondern können sie mit dem Samsung-Player sogar zu neuem UHD-kompatiblen Leben erwecken.
