Source: Digitec GalaxusDer Player hat einen Kombituner eingebaut, sodass er auch terrestrische und Kabelsender empfangen und aufzeichnen kann. Dabei hat er eine gute Bildqualität dun auch die übrige Ausstattung kann sich sehen lassen. Auch als Medienserver kann er dienen und im Heimnetz sehr leicht eingebunden werden.
Der Samsung ist auch deshalb interessant da er DVDs und Blurays abspielt und zugleich eine Aufnahmefunktion besitzt. Zudem ist es mit dem Twin Tuner möglich zwei Sendungen gleichzeitig aufzuzeichnen. Leider besitzt das Gerät keine analogen Ausgänge und auch das Display ist eher spartanisch.
