Samsonite was founded in 1910 by Jesse Shwayder in Denver and began producing heavy wooden trunks. Later, the company was renamed Shwayder Brothers, Inc. This product and/or its packaging are made from recycled materials. Parts of it are made from recycled raw materials, which is more environmentally friendly as the raw materials do not need to be newly sourced with high effort. Yogurt cups, single-use bottles, plastic waste, and film packaging are incorporated into the manufacturing process through recycling.
