Silica gel desiccant is an essential component for any device that is sensitive to moisture. The irregularly shaped particles absorb moisture without changing shape or appearing wet. The material is inert to most chemicals and therefore has no corrosive properties. Due to its highly hygroscopic nature, contact with large amounts of water should be avoided. Recommended applications include packaging, electrical and electronic enclosures, communication devices, near metal structures, cable connections, and hygroscopic powders. Each box contains 50 sachets of gel, each packaged in a permeable membrane. Complies with BS2540 and CPU/CON/250-1.
